Wai'aha International Family school operates on the campus of YWAM Kona's University of the Nations (a missionary training university located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii). We serve volunteer missionary staff families by providing an excellent educational opportunity for their children. We are a family-involvement school, which means parents teach in the classroom, alongside full-time volunteer teachers. This is a model that can be replicated in the nations with a small group of families.
We need teachers! Volunteer full-time teachers come alongside the students' parents to provide support and continuity. Each parent serves in the classroom to some extent, so the full time teachers are the glue that holds the model together. We accept trained teachers as well as volunteers 18+ interested in serving in an educational setting.
